vibin!

love the slow vibraphones, and the jazzy guitar with it (you have to tell me what musician that sample is lol, if not its cool). the percussion at 10 seconds really add to it too. awesome flute as well. very fluid song, ya keep it interesting throughout with the changes. man, some people need to get on your beats and rap. do you have music on other sites? you should try to expand, people would dig your music. kamikazi, keep it chill brotha

Kamikazi1 responds:

Thanks man, i sampled the vibes and guitar from Nuages by Milt Jackson with joe pass and ray brown. Ive been thinking about making a youtube or a reverbnation, i just haven't got to making one yet

monks listen to this on ipods

the atmosphere you created with the drums and samples have captured the essence of a buddhist temple. good work on the mastering too, you do a way better job than me haha. i was wondering if you were going to do something with the malstrom and thor bass layers too heh

DJDureagon responds:

This song is bad and im sorry i wasnt very good to work with. Noone will ever see this so whatever. you dont even come to this site anymore but I apologize for not being up to snuff.

ur first huh?

reallly good beat, such an uplifter. the drums are just right, the strings, flutes, and vocals are awesome.

DJDureagon responds:

Thanks for the review. This is going on my free album then ill get to work on the not so free one.

tiiiiiiight

grand master sampling on this. really like the vocals about halfway. someone needs to get on these beats and do some raps.

not too good? wtf

this is awesome dude. love how you flipped that vocal sample, goes perfect with the melody. her singing is really awesome! love it at 1:39. melody is really tight too. such a dope song.

EternalXIII responds:

Thanks for the review man!! I think the reason it sounds bad to me is because I was really hoping to get the other sample to work. Together it would have been dope. I think the problem was the different time scales or whatever they're called. Again, thanks for the review, I really thought I was gonna come back to it at a 2.34 or somthing!

Really nice vibe!

Excellent style on this. it's got this mixed up composition that I really dig. The keys at 12 seconds and throughout are great (good feel on that), gives it more of that trippy mixed up style. Really dig that upright bass sound also. I just think if the drums were different on this it'd be perfect, like instead of a clap it's a snare and throw in some hi-hats, then at some parts you could make it have no hi-hats for a while (like what you have in this song) then go back to the hi-hats again. Just my opinion though, I know it's not what you would want to do necessarily. Good feel.

glitcho responds:

Big thanks for your review man! I'm your fan, so it means a lot) Yeah, the lack of diversity of the drums is a problem, just decided to keep them as simple as possible for now, was afraid to loose that laid-back feel. I'll definitely add some new elements to the beat.

Thanks!

Excellent!

Another talented piece by the Mr. Bonjangles. Love the drums, vocals go really well with em (some parts I thought would have been better without the echo on em though). The war sample part was really awesome. The end is interesting; the song is about WW2 but it sounds like someone laughing. u think WW2 is funny or somethin? (just messin lol), Great job on this!

GhostlyDoobies responds:

lol yea, the ending is kinda wierd. But yea... i made this with your taste of music into those smooth classical vinyls that you seem to love.

I'm glad you liked it, i was kinda thinkin fo you when i made it.

:-)

Who else but Gomer Pyle!

yo i like this man. the beginning reminds me in a 16 bit RPG game where some characters are talking then the goofy klutz character of the game comes out and talks. the 2nd part has a nice upbeat sound too, something about that snare doesn't seem to go with it in my opinion.

always creative with ur music :)

kjhsdgf responds:

why tank you, i replaced that snare, i think it's a little better than it used to be.
well that's kinda what i was going for, so yeah,
thanks for the comment, man!

ill

really good flow with the vocals. piano sounds good, quality beat man

dig it a lot

really like the slower parts like at 5 seconds. and that guitar at 53 seconds is hot. got some talent, it's nice to see some dope beats from new people on here

DJDureagon responds:

Thanks dude. Youre the man as usual. This sample has been used before but I think this is its first chill track. More to come.
